Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. Matthew Matt James was a mixed race child of Manny James (of Jamaican descendance) as well as Patty James. He has a Nigerian father and a Caucasian mom. He graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he received a Bachelor's degree from Economics in the year 2015. James was famous after the show The Bachelorette as a reality television star. James was picked in the year 2020 to be the next bachelor on The Bachelor season 25, being the show's initial African American male star. The season premiered later that year. James is the perfect choice for the role, since he's rounded, tall and has good humor. The show ended when he chose Rachael Krkconnell as his choice to begin an affair with her. He joined forces with well-known dancer Arnold in 2021 and competed in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th in the competition.
